4-H CARTEENS is a traffic safety program conducted by 4-H for juvenile traffic offenders. CARTEENS topics include
- EXCESSIVE SPEED
- DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- SEAT BELT USE
- CONSEQUENCES OF UNSAFE DECISIONS
- UNDERSTANDING TRAFFIC LAWS
- RECOGNIZING AND REACTING TO TRAFFIC SIGNS AND SIGNALS
This program is designed and operated by Ohio State Extension and Logan County Family Court . The goal of 4-H CARTEENS is to reduce the number of second time traffic offenders in Ohio by having driver safety information taught to teens by teens. For those referred for traffic violations as a court order, you must complete the program before a suspended license will be returned. Certifcates will be emailed to the address on file within 48 hours of course completion.
Participants must register online.
Court personnel does not do this for you.
