The Logan County OSU Extension Master Gardeners will be offering a seminar on “Growing and Preserving the Edible Landscape” in Partnership with Mary Rutan Hospital “Healthy Habits, Healthy You” Initiative and hosted at the Hilliker YMCA in Bellefontaine, Ohio.  The seminar will feature Debra Knapke, a regionally popular garden speaker, who will be presenting on “Edible Ornamentals: The Marriage Between Use and Beauty”.  Other speakers will present timely information on “Vegetable Gardening into Fall & Winter” and “Preservation of Vegetables and Herbs”.  Heartland of Bellefontaine will be providing lunch for all participants.  The seminar will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.   Cost for the full day seminar is $30 for Logan county residents and $40 for non-residents.  Seating is limited.  A brochure and registration form can be found at Logan County libraries, at the OSU Extension office at 1100 South Detroit in Bellefontaine, or here.
