    Federal funding for SNAP-Ed ended Sept 30, 2025. In Ohio, SNAP-Ed programming continued through Nov. 12. Contact your local Extension office to find out what similar programs might be available in your area. You can also visit celebrateyourplate.org for recipes and other online tools.

  2. Master Gardener Applications Now Available

    Calling All Those Interested In Becoming Master Gardener Volunteers

    We now have applications for those who might be interested in the Logan County Master Gardener's Program. Classes begin Friday, October 3rd and are available online. Applications are due to the office by 4:30pm on Thursday, November 20th. Contact Jacob King should you have any questions or concerns! 

  3. Pesticide Recertifications Return to Logan County

    Private Pesticide License Renewals are returning to Logan County!  If yours is up for renewal this year, Logan County Extension can help.

  4. Emergency Haying and Grazing of Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) Acreage Available for 70 Ohio Counties

    Emergency use of CRP acres is available in eligible counties if the stand is in condition to support such activity and is subject to a modified conservation plan. Producers should contact their FSA office to determine if the county remains eligible and to obtain a modified conservation plan.
