Woodland Owners and Maple Production
Are you a woodland owner who would like to produce an annual
income from their property? It can be difficult to achieve an annual
income but maple production may be the answer.
This class will introduce woodland owners to the ins and outs of maple
syrup production. Is your woods suitable? How involved do you want
to be? How much are you willing to invest into such an endeavor? We
will start inside and finish the day outside looking at equipment options.
Class Fee: $40 includes lunch and materials

Many prescription (Rx) antibiotic products used in
food animal veterinary medicine have been under
veterinary oversight. In January 2017, several over
the counter (OTC) products were shifted from OTC to
veterinary feed directive (VFD) status. In 2023,
remaining OTC "medically important" antibiotics will
transition to prescription status. These products will
no longer be able to be sold as OTC products and will
only be available with a veterinary prescription and
will need to be purchased from a veterinarian or a
pharmacy.

Still Project Judging will be held at the Extension Office.
Each youth will begin at the check-in desk and receive a card with a call number. They can go to the seating area and wait for the judge to call or show their number. Each station will be clearly marked, and the number cards will be color coordinated. Project expectations are the same as the OSU state mandated project expectations and are written in the first few pages of their project book, titled "Project Guidelines"
